Business Legal Documents Legalization for UAE
Business Legal Documents must be notarized in the state from which the document originated.
The Arab American Chamber of Commerce will certify the documents from the D.C. Government, authenticate them from the US State Department, and legalize them from the UAE Embassy in Washington DC.
Commercial Documents Legalization for UAE
A Certificate of Origin and Commercial Invoice are both required for commercial exports to UAE. Both Certificates must be signed and notarized. AACC will stamp the documents and legalize them from the UAE Embassy.
- Print out the "Document Verification Form", fill out section 1, sign and date it.
- Print out the "Power of Attorney Form" fill it out, and sign it in the presence of a notary.
Personal Documents Legalization for UAE
All personal Documents must be certified from the local Secretary of State's office in the same state that issued the certificate. The AACC charges fees are $153.00 to legalize a single personal document. Please note that the UAE Embassy requires presenting a copy of the applicant's passport in order to legalize a personal document.
