At the Arab American Chamber of Commerce (AACC)®, located in Washington D.C., we provide fast and secure embassy legalization services for U.S.-issued birth certificates intended for use in Arab countries. Whether you are applying for dual citizenship, sponsoring a family member, getting married abroad, or handling legal matters overseas, your birth certificate must be properly authenticated and legalized before it will be accepted by foreign authorities.
We simplify the entire process, ensuring your document is valid, certified, and fully compliant with your destination country's legal and embassy-specific requirements.
When submitting a U.S. birth certificate for official use in the Arab world, the destination country often requires that the document undergoes a multi-step authentication and legalization process. This applies to situations such as:
Immigration and visa applications
Marriage abroad
Family sponsorship
Dual nationality or passport issuance
Legal representation or estate matters
AACC offers a complete legalization solution for birth certificates. Here’s how it works:
State-Level Certification
Your birth certificate must first be a certified long-form copy issued by the state vital records office.
U.S. Department of State Authentication
We submit your certified document to the U.S. Department of State in Washington D.C. for federal authentication (processing time: 9 business days).
Embassy Legalization
The authenticated document is then submitted to the embassy of the destination Arab country for final legalization.
Final Delivery
Once completed, we return your fully legalized birth certificate—ready for official use abroad.
💡 If you don’t require expedited service, you’ll save $20 per document!
