School or College Transcript – Embassy Legalization for Arab Countries

Authenticate Your Academic Records for Use in the Middle East and North Africa

The Arab American Chamber of Commerce (AACC)®, based in Washington D.C., provides embassy legalization and authentication services for U.S. school and college transcripts. If you're applying to study, work, or obtain equivalency of education in any Arab country, your academic transcripts must be officially legalized to be accepted abroad.

We handle every step of the legalization process—ensuring your education records are processed properly and recognized by foreign ministries of education, embassies, and academic institutions.

Why Legalize a Transcript?

Most Arab countries require foreign academic documents to be legalized before they can be used for:

  • 📚 University admissions or transfers

  • 🎓 Credential evaluation or degree equivalency

  • 🧑‍🏫 Employment in teaching or technical professions

  • 🛂 Immigration, visa, or residency applications

  • 👨‍⚖️ Government certification and licensing

🔎 Uncertified transcripts are usually rejected by Arab ministries and institutions.
📑 Legalization ensures your document is authentic and recognized internationally.

What Kind of Transcripts Can Be Legalized?

We legalize transcripts from:

  • High Schools

  • Colleges & Universities (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD)

  • Vocational Schools & Technical Institutes

  • Private Schools & Online Institutions (if accredited)

Requirements Before Legalization

To begin, your transcript must:

  1. Be issued on official school letterhead

  2. Be signed by a school registrar or official

  3. Be notarized (or accompanied by a notarized affidavit from the school)

  4. Be certified by the Secretary of State where it was issued

  5. Be authenticated by the U.S. Department of State

  6. Be legalized by the destination country's embassy in Washington D.C.

💡 If your transcript isn’t notarized yet, we can guide your school on how to prepare it properly.
💰 Save $20 per document if you don’t require expedited processing.
